Oppo is preparing to launch its new K-series smartphone, the Oppo K14 Lite, in India next week. The company has confirmed the launch date along with several key specifications, including a large 7,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display and ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

Oppo K14 Lite India Launch Date and Time
The Oppo K14 Lite will launch in India on September 16 at 12pm IST. Oppo has also confirmed that the phone will be sold through Flipkart.
A dedicated Flipkart landing page has already gone live, providing a first look at the smartphone’s design and some of its specifications.
Oppo K14 Lite Design and Colour Options
The official teasers show the Oppo K14 Lite in a Burgundy-like dark shade and Purple. The camera section appears slightly lighter than the main rear panel.
The smartphone features a dual-camera-style rear module accompanied by an LED flash.
While the darker shade appears Burgundy in the official teaser images, the exact official colour name has not yet been confirmed by Oppo. The final colour names could be revealed at the launch.
6.75-Inch 120Hz Display
The Oppo K14 Lite is confirmed to feature a 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The larger screen and higher refresh rate should offer smoother scrolling and animations compared with standard 60Hz panels.
The phone is also confirmed to feature an octa-core chipset, although Oppo has not yet officially disclosed the processor name in the available launch information.
Oppo K14 Lite Processor and RAM
The smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM, with support for an additional 4GB of virtual RAM, taking the advertised memory capacity to 8GB.
The Oppo K14 Lite is expected to use the Unisoc T7250 chipset. However, this processor detail should be treated as unconfirmed until Oppo officially announces it.
13-Megapixel Camera and IP64 Rating
The Oppo K14 Lite is confirmed to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera. The teasers also show a dual-camera-style module on the rear.
The phone will have an IP64 rating, providing protection against dust and water splashes.
Details of the secondary rear camera and front camera have not yet been officially confirmed.
7,000mAh Battery
The 7,000mAh battery is one of the main highlights of the Oppo K14 Lite. Oppo claims the battery can deliver up to 675.13 hours of standby time and up to 26.84 hours of video playback.
The company is also promising up to six years of battery life, making long-term battery durability one of the phone’s key selling points.
The charging specifications for the K14 Lite have not yet been officially confirmed.
ColorOS 16 Based on Android 16
The Oppo K14 Lite will run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box. This will give the smartphone Oppo’s latest software interface alongside Google’s Android 16 platform.
Could the Oppo K14 Lite Be Based on the Oppo A6c 4G?
The Oppo K14 Lite is expected to share several hardware specifications with the Oppo A6c 4G, which was launched in May 2026.
The Oppo A6c 4G starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.
It features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Unisoc T7250 chipset, 4GB RAM, a 13-megapixel primary rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The A6c 4G also packs a 7,000mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging.
If the K14 Lite shares its hardware with the A6c 4G, some of these specifications could carry over to the new K-series phone. However, these details should not be treated as confirmed until Oppo officially reveals the complete specifications.
