Madhya Pradesh has received investment proposals worth more than Rs 53,000 crore across sectors including green energy, artificial intelligence, data centers, healthcare, education, logistics and advanced manufacturing during Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s three-day visit to the United Arab Emirates.
The visit, which concluded on Tuesday, focused on attracting global investors and strengthening industrial partnerships between Madhya Pradesh and UAE-based businesses.
Major Investment Proposals for Madhya Pradesh
One of the biggest proposals came from Rana Holdings Limited, which is exploring investments of around Rs 35,200 crore in Madhya Pradesh.
During a meeting with Chairman and Managing Director Dr Darshan Singh Rana, discussions were held on projects covering renewable energy, green hydrogen, artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing.
The company has expressed interest in developing:
- A 2,000 MW solar energy portfolio
- A 200 MW green hydrogen plant
- A 50 MW AI and compute data centre, expandable to 200 MW
- A 30,000 MTPA critical minerals recovery and recycling complex
- An integrated smart manufacturing hub
According to officials, these projects could significantly strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s renewable energy capacity, digital infrastructure and advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
Rs 18,000 Crore AI Factory Proposal
Another major investment proposal involves an AI factory project worth nearly Rs 18,000 crore.
The proposed facility would initially have a capacity of around 50 MW, with plans to expand it to more than 100 MW in the future.
The proposal reflects the growing focus on AI infrastructure and high-performance computing in Madhya Pradesh as the state seeks to attract investments in emerging technologies.
Focus on Healthcare and Education
During his UAE visit, CM Mohan Yadav also held discussions with major business groups on expanding healthcare and education infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh.
In a meeting with GEMS Education Chairman Sunny Varkey, discussions focused on establishing K-12 schools, teacher-training facilities and modern educational campuses based on international standards.
Yadav also discussed potential investments in the healthcare sector with representatives of Pure Health. Areas discussed included:
- Multi-speciality hospitals
- Digital healthcare
- Telemedicine
- Medical education
- Nursing education
Logistics, Food Processing and Tourism
The Madhya Pradesh government also held discussions with the Sharaf Group on opportunities in logistics and infrastructure.
Potential areas of cooperation include multimodal logistics parks, warehousing, cold-chain infrastructure, supply-chain networks, tourism and hospitality.
With Choithrams, discussions focused on food processing, agricultural procurement, retail, distribution networks and cold-chain infrastructure.
Madhya Pradesh Highlights Investment Potential
During investor interactions in Dubai, CM Mohan Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s position as one of India’s major growth centres.
He said the state has recorded an economic growth rate of more than 11 per cent and offers investment opportunities across agriculture, food processing, textiles, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automobiles, advanced manufacturing, green energy, IT, AI, data centres, electronics and tourism.
The chief minister also highlighted the state’s land bank, road and railway connectivity, eight active airports, investment-friendly policies and single-window clearance system.
MP Claims Rs 34 Lakh Crore Investment Proposals in Two Years
Yadav said Madhya Pradesh has received investment proposals worth more than Rs 34 lakh crore over the last two and a half years.
According to the chief minister, more than 30 per cent of these projects have already been implemented.
He also invited UAE-based investors and business leaders to participate in the Global Investors Summit (GIS-2027), scheduled to be held in Bhopal in January 2027.
Madhya Pradesh Seeks UAE Investment
The Dubai visit was part of the state’s wider effort to attract international investment and develop partnerships in emerging industries.
At an ‘Invest in Madhya Pradesh: Interactive Session’, UAE industrialists, investors, business organisations, CII UAE representatives, IBPC members and NRI entrepreneurs were briefed about investment opportunities in the state.
Additional Chief Secretary (Chief Minister’s Office) Neeraj Mandloi presented Madhya Pradesh’s industrial potential, while UAE Special Envoy Badr Jafar also addressed the session.
With proposals spanning renewable energy, green hydrogen, AI infrastructure, healthcare, education, logistics and manufacturing, the Madhya Pradesh government is seeking to position the state as a major destination for both domestic and international investment.
