4. EA Sports FC 27

Worldwide launch: September 25, 2026
Football fans have a major release to watch this week with EA Sports FC 27.
EA has confirmed that the Ultimate Edition and Ultimate Plus Edition receive early access from September 18, while the worldwide launch is scheduled for September 25. EA Play members can also access a 10-hour early-access trial from September 18.
The game features more than 21,000 players, 800-plus clubs and national teams, 130-plus stadiums and 35-plus leagues, according to EA.
5. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight
Release date: September 18, 2026
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is another major release arriving on September 18.
Warner Bros. Games has confirmed the Nintendo Switch 2 launch for the same date, while the game is also available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The Mayhem Collection DLC, featuring Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters, is also scheduled for September 18.
