An Air India flight travelling from Bhopal to Delhi was diverted to Jaipur on Sunday morning after a technical problem was reported in the aircraft’s left engine during the flight.
Air India flight AI 1886 landed safely at Jaipur Airport after a full emergency was declared at around 9:40 am amid concerns over a possible engine failure.
According to an official statement from Air India, the aircraft was diverted to Jaipur as a precautionary measure in accordance with established safety procedures. The airline said the aircraft is now undergoing a detailed technical inspection to determine the cause of the problem.
