The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced a youth march in Delhi on September 5, accusing the central government of failing to fulfil promises made during the protests held in July.
According to a statement shared by CJP’s National Working Committee on X, the march will begin at India Gate and proceed towards the New Delhi Police Headquarters.
The party said families of alleged NEET victims and those who were reportedly affected by police action will lead the protest. Students and youth organisations are also expected to take part.
CJP Accuses Government of Delaying Action
CJP alleged that the government has failed to act on assurances given to students and protesters on July 25, particularly regarding the withdrawal of FIRs filed against them.
The party said repeated delays and a lack of clear action had prompted its National Working Committee to call for another peaceful mobilisation in Delhi.
CJP Raises Questions Over FIRs
The statement also referred to proceedings in the Supreme Court, claiming that the court had sought a list of FIRs registered across the country on August 18 so they could be considered together.
CJP alleged that the government has not given a clear commitment on the issue and questioned whether it intends to fulfil the assurances made to protesters.
The September 5 march is expected to bring students, youth groups and affected families together to press for action on these demands.
